The Bag Lady

How I longed for my sylph like body of yesteryear as I picked up gorgeous dresses, begging to be purchased.

We are all guilty of moaning but sometimes I think some people are more entitled to a rant than others!

On Thursday early morning while I was out walking, I saw a broken down Metro bus at the bottom end of Comaro Street in Glenvista. The driver was trying really hard to get the engine to go but all his efforts were to no avail. I carried on walking but thought about all those commuters patiently waiting for their bus ride, which would never arrive. How many workers wouldn’t get to work on time and how many school children would be late? How fortunate many of us are as we leave our homes, walk a few steps and get into our motor vehicles. I have to say if I’d been one of those bus commuters, you’d have heard me ranting and raving for days!

Nothing really wow

Browsing the clothing stores last week, I saw nothing ‘wow enough to make me want to purchase anything, other than in Forever New. Now, there’s a wow store! The only problem is that sizes are small and the clothes and accessories are expensive. How I longed for my sylph-like body of yesteryear as I picked up gorgeous dresses begging to be purchased. I have often said Forever New is one of my favourite shops and last week it proved to be the best yet again. Poetry comes a close second, but clothes there are pretty pricey too. Good luck out there, ladies!

That’s it for this week. Shop till you drop.
