Tristan and Tyler help TLC Children’s Home

Please support these two brothers.

ABOUT a month ago two little boys from Alberton, Tristan and Tyler Goncalves, visited TLC Children’s Home in Eikenhof.

Tristan, you may recall, was the little man who donated R9 100 worth of items to Alberton SPCA in 2016.

LOVE: Tyler playing with one of the little ones.

According to the boys’ mother Wendy, this whole visit inspired them to be a helping hand to the TLC Children’s Home. Tristan and Tyler put together a whole collection of their books and clothes to take. “Once we got there and the boys started interacting with the babies, they were hooked. Now all they want to do is help these little people,” said Wendy.

CUTE: Tyler with some of the babies. His smile says everything.

The Goncalves brothers and their mom asked Pippa Jarvis, the managing director of the home, what their critical needs for the babies were and she advised them that they always need nappies, formula milk, wet wipes and clothes. Since then they have started collecting goods at General Alberts Primary and they also created drop-off points at Lollipop Nursery School and Brain Gain Concentration Centres, all in New Redruth.

Anyone who is willing to donate nappies, NAN formula milk, wet wipes or clothes can drop them off at the above-mentioned places or contact Wendy on 082 305 5103, or Pippa on 011 948 7917.
