Under the ComaroScope with Tsholo Acts

The single is Afro-Beats dance ensemble encourages us to get up and dance with love.

TSHOLO Acts is a pastor at Chosen Generation Church in West Turffontein and has now released her hit single ‘IyaJika’.

Pastor Tsholofelo (32) began her career at an early age and as a young girl she always believed she was going to become a musician. As years progressed, she slowly started working on her dream of being a backing vocalist and finally decided to go out on her own in 2015.

Born and raised in Daveyton on the East Rand, Tsholo is now happily married with two children and lives in Ormonde View. She was ordained as a pastor in 2015 and has been singing in church since the tender age of six. She chased her passion for music throughout her life as she attended Sunday School and was involved in school choirs.

She was also a worship singer at the Christ Embassy church – her previous church in Daveyton. She moved to Ormonde after marrying Reverend Witness Acts and the dynamic duo began Chosen Generation Church in 2014.

It was only in 2015 that the talented ‘Afro-Beats’ singer started recording her music and in 2016 decided to publish her music.

Tsholo and her husband Witness are the founding Pastors of Chosen Generation Church and co-owners of Chosen Entertainment, a record label dedicated to releasing inspirational records. She is currently working on her debut due for release later this year.

“You need to do what you love and it is not about a good voice or money. Music should be an inspiration and encourage people to have faith in God and strive to achieve more,” said Tsholo.

Her understanding of using different genres inspired her to record her first single, ‘IyaJika’, at the beginning of 2016 with Hit record producer, Mr Kamera. The up-tempo rhythmic single is a dance ensemble comprising Afro-Beats and singalong vocals. Her follow-up singles, ‘O DiraMehlolo’ and ‘Minana’ featuring Zimbabwean Gospel Superstar Tinashe Nyaruvirodis, show her versatility as an artist and showcase her vocal ability.
