BREAKING NEWS: Elderly woman trapped in house fire on Leipoldt Street
The woman was found passed out on the floor in her bedroom.
An elderly woman (77) has been transported to a hospital after she was trapped in a house fire in Ridgeway, Leipoldt Street, this morning May 16.
At about 10am a neighbour says he heard a loud explosion before the house was engulfed in flames.
WATCH:
It is reported that the explosion was caused by a gas heater.
The police were first on the scene after they saw smoke coming from the house. The owner of the house was found passed out on her bedroom floor.
