Breakfast treat for the elderly

MONDEOR Sector Two Community Policing Forum, with assistance from sponsors, held a breakfast for seniors at the Golden Falls Spur in Columbine Square, Suideroord, on April 18.

Coordinator Michelle Pelser said these breakfasts are becoming very popular with local seniors and the morning is cost free.

“It’s a great social occasion for many of those who live alone, but couples are more than welcome also. Everyone enjoys a breakfast and there are always guest speakers who give handy tips and useful information,” she said.
