WORD of Life Church is hosting its 17th birthday conference from April 6 to 8, at 19:15, and at 10:00 on Sunday, April 9.
Seventeen years ago Pastor Ben van Rheede and his late wife, Pearl, visited family in the vicinity of Bellavista and became aware of the need for a church in the community.
The couple fulfilled this need and formed Word of Life on April 9, 2000, with the vision to be relevant to the community – something which has not changed over the years.
Today Word of Life has a Bible school with over 40 students, a children’s church and ladies’ and men’s ministry.
The church also offers family enrichment, economic empowerment, outreach to the needy, sports activities and much more.
Word of Life is situated on the corner of Royal Street and Bellavista Road, Bellavista.
