Lovett gives elite performance

Jessica Lovett returned to the stage competing at the Elite Athlete Extravaganza.

JESSICA Lovett returned to the stage recently, competing at the Elite Athlete Extravaganza at Gold Reef City over the weekend of March 18 and holding her own.

She returned to the code of bodybuilding after she was involved in a motor accident last year and managed to be well placed by the judges.

“It’s been one tough journey,” said Lovett, “I am blessed to be able to be step on stage again and continue to live my dream.”

She placed first in the bikini fitness division over 1.63m and won the women’s overall.

She next went to Durban and competed in the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) King Shaka Classic over the weekend of March 25.

She managed a first position once again in her division, the bikini over 1.63m, as well as winning the overall fitness bikini.

Lovett will now focus on her preparation for the second Arnold Classic, to be held in Johannesburg this coming May.

“I was blessed enough to be invited to Miss South Africa Xtreme last year. My love for this sport grows daily and I will not stop till I am at the top,” she says.

To top off her return to the sport she loves most, she has been invited to Spain to compete in a bodybuilding event in June.
