As summer has turned to autumn, the days are shorter with the mornings darker and the evenings drawing in, but with it comes a sense of cosiness.
We can begin to look forward to Easter and all the delicious treats this brings, from hot cross buns to simnel cake, chocolate eggs to roast lamb. Easter eggs are in all shops now, varying from reasonably priced to the more expensive luxury Easter eggs. If you are planning an Easter egg hunt, I’d advise you to buy your chocolate eggs early as often the more reasonably priced ones sell out.
Soon it will be time to start planning your winter wardrobe and new lines are beginning to come into the shops. I’ve heard it’s going to be a very cold winter this year. Although usually a short season, with the late rains, a chilly winter could follow, so don’t be left out in the cold!
I’ll be making sure I choose a few new thick jerseys, leggings and boots. Team these with woolly socks, scarves and gloves and you’ll be all set! Not forgetting a gorgeous coat or jacket, Woolworths and Queenspark have some stunners. With beautiful boots, dreamy dresses and chunky knits, you’ll be spoilt for choice!
