Garden club welcomes members back
The garden club committee has already had its first meeting of 2017 and is looking to include a few more visits into this year’s programme. If any garden club member knows of an interesting place to visit, which isn’t too expensive, the committee will appreciate your ideas.
AFTER a brief holiday, Johannesburg South Garden Club is back and its members are looking forward to an exciting year, with guest speakers and outings, discovering other beautiful gardens and interesting places to visit.
The next meeting takes place on Tuesday, January 31, at The Precinct, Klipriviersberg Nature Reserve, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park, at 10:00. The guest speaker is Hennie van der Merwe who will talk on bees and honey.
