Desiree De Atouguia, one of the educators, spoke said that the grade one learners came to the school the day before for a little “tea party”.

“The Grade One learners came to school a day before to meet their teachers and see their new classrooms so they would not be too scared on the first day and they would have an idea of where to go in the school so they wouldn’t be intimidated by anyone or anything but they would have an idea already of what to expect on the first day,” she said.
