Power cuts planned in the South
The interruption will take place between Thursday, January 19, and Friday, January 20.
CITY Power would like to inform residents of the South about a planned power outage between Thursday, January 19 and Friday, January 20, between 23:00 and 06:00.
The areas that will be affected by the outage are: Aeroton, Mondeor Ext 2, Alan Manor, Mondeor Ext 3 and 4; Alan Manor Ext 2, Gillview, Meredale Exts 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 12, 26, 30, 31, 34; Kibler Park, Ridgeway Ext 4, Meredale, Ridgeway Exts 5, 8; Meredale Ext 11, Southgate, Suideroord, Mondeor plus Winchester Hills Ext 1, 2 and 3.
The power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on City Power’s network, as part of a program to provide better service. As the supply may be restored at any time, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.
City Power regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by these interruptions.
