Join the walk for charity this December

There will be a five km and an eight km route with two water points along the way.

THIS year marks the fourteenth anniversary of the Charity Hat Walk in Johannesburg and the third anniversary in Cape Town.

Balwin Properties prides itself on giving back to the community through this event and each year, strives to generously donate much-needed funds for the various charities. A target for the various charities applies, with this year’s target amounting to R2 million. Jeppe Quondam Club are proud to be associated with Balwin Properties and together, to make this event possible.

Join in the charity walk at Jeppe Quondam in Bedfordview on Sunday, December 4 from 07:00.

There will be a five km and an eight km route, with two water points along the way. Dogs are welcome and there will be water for them at all the water points.

As this is the Christmas walk, everyone is requested to wear some type of Christmas hat. The bigger the better.

Food, cold drinks, coffee etc. will be on sale after the walk. You are welcome to bring a picnic basket with, once finished with the walk.

The charities that will benetit from proceeds from this years’ Charity Hat Walk will be the Theo Jackson Foundation, Puppy and Kitty Haven, Lambano Sanctuary, Reach for a Dream, Choc, Hospice Wits and Guide Dogs Association of SA.
