Achievers honoured at Randeor School

Randeor’s students learn practical skills which can lead to vocations such as building, plumbing, hairdressing, cosmetics, hotel-keeping and skills training.

FOR over 25 years, the Rotary Club of Johannesburg South 101 has been sponsoring prizes for top-performing students of Randeor School, a school for learners with special needs, in Winchester Hills.
Two gala evenings for parents of the prizewinners were held on October 18 and 19, for junior and senior learners respectively. The winners and runners-up received gift vouchers for The Glen Shopping Centre.

One of Rotary International’s six areas of focus is to support economic and community development. In this area of focus, Rotarians carry out service projects that create opportunities for decent and productive work. Through this work Rotary strengthens local entrepreneurs and community leaders.
Rotary Johannesburg South 101 meets every Tuesday at 18:45 at United Cerebral Palsy Association, Townsview, where they have the opportunity to deliver service to their community and enjoy fellowship.
