Show Day at Eikenhof WI

Entries ranged from knitting, embroidering, arts and crafts, baking, jams and lemon curds, flowers, as well as fruit and vegetables.

THIS year’s Show Day at Eikenhof Women’s Institute didn’t yield as many tables as last year but still, the entries were of a high standard and the judges’ comments taken in good spirit.

Entries ranged from knitting, embroidering, arts and crafts, baking, jams and lemon curds, flowers, as well as fruit and vegetables.

The winner this year with a total of 410 points, is Jean Ross, second place went to Yvonne Fagan with 395 points and third to Anne du Plessis with 380 points.

“Well done, ladies, I’m delighted to see such beautiful workmanship and delicious goodies,” said Joy Boswell, president of the WI.
