Postbox clean-up in Glenvista ext 4

“It really did look a mess and many of the residents who have post boxes here complained about all the long grass and weeds surrounding the post boxes. It was also dangerous as criminals could hide out,” said Pauline and Maurie.

TWO of Pam Golding’s real estate agents, Pauline Wager and Maurie Graaff, both who live in Glenvista, also noticed the sorry state of the Budack Avenue Post Box area (Comaro CHRONICLE April 20, page 5) and decided to be proactive and do something to clean up the area.

“It really did look a mess and many of the residents who have postboxes here complained about all the long grass and weeds surrounding the postboxes. It was also dangerous as criminals could hide out,” said Pauline and Maurie.

“We hired M & F Construction to do the initial big clean-up, which was a mammoth task but now it’s looking much better,” they agreed.

Pauline’s and Maurie’s next project, in the Glenvista area, will be to tackle the copious amounts of litter. “We encourage residents to carry a plastic bag in their vehicles to use for litter. When we drive around we often see motorists throwing rubbish out of their car windows. If we all work together we can make our suburb beautiful, a place to be proud of.”
