Congratulations

They met on a blind date and it was love at first sight, although Andreé had to come to grips with cricket as her new beau was a Transvaal cricketer!

LOUIS and Andreé Harris celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 31, with their three children and spouses, Russel and Kathy, Craig and Esmé and Dianne and Paul, as well as their grandchildren, Kyle, Ashleigh, Sayward, Meagan, Angie, Matthew and Jenna.

Andreé and Louis lived and brought up their children in Mondeor for 30 years, residing happily now at Queenshaven, where they have made wonderful friends.

They met on a blind date and it was love at first sight, although Andreé had to come to grips with cricket as her new beau was a Transvaal cricketer. She has since become a golf widow as Louis is a stalwart Glenvista County Club member and is still winning many tournaments.

Andreé is always busy cooking, sewing, fetching children and doing good deeds for the neighbourhood. Her life is full and she never has a dull moment. Perhaps this has kept Louis on his toes and is the answer to 60 years of togetherness.
