Supporting United Cerebral Palsy Association

THE South of Joburg Business and Tourism (SOJO) will be hosting its annual race day at the Turffontein Racecourse, Centenary Room in Turf Club Street, Turffontein on May 7 from 11:00.

The community is invited to get involved and enjoy this fun-filled day with them.

This is a great way to entertain clients for the day and there are three different options to choose from:

*R380 per person includes a three-course buffet lunch, complimentary wine and Computaform.

*R2 800 per table, seating eight, includes a three-course buffet lunch, complimentary wine and Computaform.

*R8 000 will also get you naming rights to a race and also includes a three-course buffet lunch, complimentary wine and Computaform; advertising on the scoreboard on the day and in the nationally distributed Computaforms (only eight races available to secure naming rights); and television coverage in 19 countries, including the US, Brazil, UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, France, Belgium, Holland, Austria, Pakistan, Germany, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Zimbabwe and Kenya. Web streaming in Thailand, Indonesia and China. (Note: Existing South African taxation laws allows for tax relief on donations.)

A third of the net takings are donated to the UCPA (United Cerebral Palsy Association)

A cash bar and betting facilities will be available at the venue, and the dress code is black and white (smart-casual).

Loads of fun prizes await. A wheelbarrow filled with attractive goods will be raffled, a Lions rugby jersey signed by the whole team will be on auction and you can stand a chance to win the best-dressed surprise prizes and other spot lucky draw prizes.

On the day there will be a DJ and live entertainment.
