Easter egg hunt fun

Nearly 100 children hunted for Easter eggs in the nature reserve.

AFTER a week of anxiously watching the skies, the Klipriviersberg Enviro-Club managed to hold its annual Easter egg hunt in a reasonably dry nature reserve.

There were 83 enthusiastic hunters, aged between two and 15 years and, getting in the children’s way, about 50 parents and grandparents.

All the hunters received a pack of eggs and seven lucky children each found a “Golden Ticket” which gave them each a special egg.

Roy and Beth Harris, coordinators of Klipriviersberg Enviro-Clubm thanked Bishop Ngobeli and Tumi Shoba from JCPZ (Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo) for allowing them the use of the reserve and to all those who assisted to make the day a success on Saturday, March 12.
