Creative Academy shaves the way

On Friday, February 26, Creative Academy in Brackenhurst hosted a CANSA Shavathon.

ON Friday, February 26, Creative Academy Preschool and Baby Centre hosted a CANSA Shavathon, raising funds for research on early diagnosis, cancer risk reduction, early detection programmes and to give care and support to people affected by cancer.

Creative Academy principal, Jenna Axel, said: “The day was a roaring success. Thank you to each and every parent, family member and community member who contributed to this worthy cause.”

A special thank you went out from the school to Kolok South Africa who donated R 4000 to the drive. Creative Academy raised R 9 428 in total.
