Eskom implements stage 1 and 2 load shedding

Eskom has announced that it would implement staggered loadshedding on Friday due to increased electricity demand.

Eskom had earlier said there would be no loadshedding on Friday morning, but in a later statement the power utility announced that it would be implementing stage 1 and stage 2 loadshedding.
