Killers strike in parking lot
One resident killed and his friend shot as he tried to run away.
The Carletonville police are still investigating what led to the senseless killing of two men on Sunday, 11 February.
The men were talking in the parking lot outside Corner Pocket restaurant on Van Zyl Smit Street at about 02:20.
Suddenly, a red Volkswagen Polo stopped near them.
Two suspects exited the car and walked straight to the two.
They shot the 30-year-old in the head and the other in the leg as he tried to run away. The gunmen then sped off.
