Robbed near fire station

A Carletonville man was robbed while walking in Annan Road this week. The crime took place on Thursday 19 October at approximately 19:50.

The resident (27) was walking near the fire station when he suddenly noticed an unknown man walking toward him. As they got closer to the electrical substation this man pulled out a firearm.

He pointed it at the resident and demanded his cellphone. The thug then grabbed the resident’s cellphone as well as his bag with his laptop before running away.

The police in Carletonville are investigating an armed robbery case.
