House robbers strike in Annan Road
Another house robbery happened on Annan Road in the early hours of Monday morning.
The resident was asleep when a noise outside woke him at about 03:00.
He went to investigate and saw three men trying to open a safe.
The Zulu-speaking thugs noticed him and stormed up to the resident, overpowered him and forced him into his bedroom.
They demanded the keys to the safe before tying the resident up.
The criminals then grabbed the money from the safe and ran from the scene.
Luckily, the resident (36) was not injured.
