Open day at The Fountain Private Hospital
Do not miss this day as it will include a variety of free screenings as well as talks about important health conditions.
Residents who care about their health must not miss the open day next week.
It will take place at Fountain Private Hospital next to the R500 road between Carletonville and Fochville on Wednesday 8 March.
The day will start at 09:00 and the activities will continue until 15:00.
The hospital’s new Mammography clinic will be opened and there will be various free screenings.
Dr Makhochane will do dental screenings while Bongi, an optometrist, will check visitors’ eyesight.
Hearcare will check visitors’ hearing while Sisonke will do breast examinations for women who need this service.
Lancet Laboratories will do sugar, cholesterol and blood pressure testing.
There will also be special discussions to educate residents about health issues. The dieticians Letabo and Monase will talk about nutrition while a physiotherapist and occupational therapist will also share their knowledge.
Meanwhile the social worker Victoria Masuku will also share information related to her field of expertise.
