Khutsong actor in Durban for theatre show

A Khutsong actor is flying Merafong’s flag high.

Peter Ramaine, popularly known as “Mahavatar”, represented Merafong in Durban at the “Amawethu” theatre production from 4 to 6 August. “Amawethu” comprises acting and dancing and aims to create a system for African children to appreciate and learn more about who they are. The play has been showcased in theatres throughout South Africa. Mahavatar is a well-respected actor, poet, dancer, filmmaker and event organiser – an all-round creative who is passionate about art.
Active in the local art scene, Mahavatar and his work continue to make an impact locally and nationally.
