Young man loses his life
The police have warned previously that people who go out must be very careful when they go home late.
A young man was murdered in Khutsong Extension 5 last weekend.
The man (27) and his girlfriend walked home in the 60s at approximately 03:00 on Sunday, 7 April, after visiting a tavern.
Suddenly, a man stormed up to them, pulled out a firearm and shot the boyfriend at point-blank range.
The criminal then ran off, leaving the young man dead at the scene.
The police are investigating a murder following the incident.
