A Carletonville resident had a harrowing experience when thugs attacked her in her home on Thursday, 5 October.
The 30-year-old woman living on Carleton Jones Drive was asleep at about 01:00 when she suddenly awoke to someone opening her bedroom door.
A man wearing a black jacket and balaclava stormed into her room, walked over to the woman and hit her on the head with a firearm.
“Keep quiet,” he warned.
The criminal then grabbed a television before running from the scene. Although the victim sustained an injury to her head, it was not serious.
