Two shot during robbery in Oberholzer

Two men were injured in a robbery in Van Zyl Smit Street in Oberholzer on Friday night.

According to Russel Meiring of ER24, their paramedics arrived at the scene at 18:23 to find the local authorities and CPI Security already in attendance.

On closer inspection, a man was found lying on the pavement while another man was walking around nearby. The paramedics assessed the men and found that the man lying on the pavement had sustained a gunshot wound to his head, leaving him in a critical condition.

The other man had suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder.

The men were treated and immediately rushed to hospital for urgent care.

The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
