One of the bridges in our area was damaged by storm water this week.
Motorists driving from Wedela toward Fochville and Elandsrand noticed that the bridge just outside Wedela was partially washed away on Thursday morning. At the time of the Herald’s visit a lot of water was still flowing under the bridge.
Debris from the flood also still hung from the storm water rails on the one side of the bridge. The rails on the other side were damaged by the flood.
