House robber who attacked Fochville residents arrested.

On Wednesday 6 October at approximately 05:30 Fochville residents were attacked in the home. The attacker brutally stabbed a resident and also assaulted his father.
A firearm, laptop, cellphones and other properties were taken during robbery.
The police in Fochville followed the information, and arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with the incident early yesterday morning. He was found in possession of the stolen firearm, laptop, cellphone and other properties, which he couldn’t give a proper explanation as to where he got them from.
“I would like to  thank all members who joined in the early hours to search for the suspect of the house robbery as well as community members who assisted in tracing the suspect and giving information since this happened this is a clear sign that together we can against crime,” says Fochville’s station commissioner.
The police say that they will work around the clock to ensure the safe and secure of our community all the time and ask the community to work together with police to fight crime.
They also offered some tips to prevent such incidents happening again.
-Most of the victims of house robberies in the had no age limit and the perpetrator(s) are always armed, violent, cruel and aggressive.
-Members of the public are encouraged to report any crime or suspicious activities that are happening in their area.
-Ensure that your garden, driveway and back yard is clear and clean.
 *Remember property can be replaced but human life cannot be. Your life is more important and precious than your possessions.
