So far no violence related to the ongoing national protests have taken place in Carletonville and Fochville.
The police in Carletonville and Fochville have confirmed that everything is still quiet and no violence or looting has occurred.
Carletonville’s central business area as well as Oberholzer are currently quiet. The only large centre with a lot of shoppers is currently Pick and Pay, and streets are also quieter than usual.
All the roads in our area are also open.
