A total of 210 new cases were reported in our area during the past day.
This bring our total number of cases to 7 841, of which 6 618 of our residents have recovered and 267 patients have died.
Elsewhere in the West Rand, 533 new cases were reported in Mogale City (the Krugersdorp-area). This brings their total to 23 606 cases, of which 19 530 people have recovered and 565 patients have died.
There were also 166 new cases in Rand West City (the Randfontein and Westonaria area), which brings their total of infected residents to 12 102. Of these people 10 311 have recovered while 342 have died.
