These were the words of a senior police officer while describing an incident in Carletonville during last week.
On Good Friday, a resident of Kaolin Street and his girlfriend were relaxing at home at around 23:30 when two men suddenly stormed in. Both were masked with balaclavas.
As the couple was still trying to figure out what was happening, one of the intruders suddenly pulled out a firearm.
He shot the resident in the mouth before he and his accomplice ran from the scene.
The victim died of his injuries and the Carletonville police have opened a murder case.
