House robbery in Azurite Street

House robbers struck Carletonville again recently, this time in Azurite Street.

The Carletonville police say the owner of the house and his wife were sleeping when the incident happened on the morning of Saturday, 31 October. They woke up to the noise of someone breaking in at around 02:00.
The three robbers, all of whom were armed, pointed their firearms at the couple and demanded that they hand over their valuables, including the money the victim had made when he sold his bakkie the day before.
They tied the couple up with ropes and ran away after robbing them.
