Road rage on P111

The police in Carletonville are investigating a case of malicious damage to property after a vehicle was damaged in an alleged road rage incident last weekend.

According to the communication officer of the police in Carletonville, WO Peter Masooa, the incident took place on Saturday, 17 October.
The driver told the police that he was driving on the Leeupoort road at around 19:30. He had just turned onto the P111 towards Carletonville when a white Volkswagen Caddy bakkie stopped in front of him.
The motorist angrily asked him why he had turned into the road without first looking.
Although the driver tried to apologise, the angry man pushed his window so hard that it broke. The estimated damage amounts to about R1,000.
