Bakkie stolen in Selati Street

Another vehicle was stolen in Carletonville during the past week.

The communication officer of the police in Carletonville, WO Peter Masooa, says the owner of a white Toyota Hilux bakkie was staying over at Selati Guest house with his wife. He had parked the bakkie, worth R320 000, outside at around 23:30 and made sure that the vehicle was safely locked in.
At around 07:30 the next morning, his wife called him, saying the vehicle was not outside anymore. The thieves had gained entry by removing the gate from its track.
Luckily, the bakkie was equipped with a satellite tracker system and was later recovered in Dobsonville.
