Man stabbed in Flint Street

Last weekend brought a bad omen for at least one resident.

The communication officer of the SAPS in Carletonville, WO Peter Masooa, says members of the police were attending to complaints in the area during the early hours of Sunday, 4 October. While patrolling in Annan Road at around 00:30, a resident stopped them and told them a man was lying in a nearby street. The informant went to Flint Street with them, where he showed them a man lying in the road next to Midas. They called an ambulance and went with the man to the ambulance base at the hospital to make sure he was picked up and taken to the hospital.
The police opened a case of assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm (GBH) following the incident.
