According to WO Peter Masooa, the communications officer of the police in Carletonville, the resident of Joubert Street in Carletonville Ext. 9, parked his car in front of his garage at around 19:30 on 24 July.
When he went outside at about 10:00 the next day, however, he found the car was missing. His wife told him she had not noticed anything suspicious.
The man then went to enquire whether his neighbour had seen anything on the CCTV camera he had installed on his property. The neighbour checked the footage and saw two men pushing the car down the road.
