ER24 paramedics arrived on scene at 19:35 to find the woman entrapped in the light motor vehicle. She had suffered multiple injuries and showed no signs of life. Nothing could be done for her unfortunately and she was declared dead on arrival.
The Fire Department was on scene for the extraction and the South African Police Services for further investigations. It is unknown as to the exact cause of the incident.
