Woman allegedly thrown from moving car

The police in Carletonville are looking for more information regarding a woman who was allegedly thrown from a moving car last weekend.

According to the communications officer of the police in Carletonville, WO Peter Masooa, police were called to Annan Road next to the filling station at the 007 shopping complex at around 16:20 on Sunday, 10 February. Bystanders at the scene showed them an African woman lying in the road. They told the police she had been thrown from a moving car. She did not have visible injuries and was taken to Carletonville hospital. The woman does not respond to questions and the police are currently busy investigating the matter. They are looking for more information about who she might be and who may have thrown her out the car. The police also want to know more about the vehicle involved. ‘We request any person with information to contact us at 018 787 9317,’ said the branch commander, Lt-Col Wessel Prinsloo.
