A 25-year-old resident of Blyvoor Village was murdered at a shack in B-Section in Khutsong on 23 April.
The victim was identified as Mokete Matetwane, popularly known as Smiley.
According to members if the Police in Khutsong, they had arrived at the complainant’s shack to find a group of men drinking.
The owner of the shack told the police that she had heard gun-shots at the door and had found the victim and dragged him inside.
He had been shot five times and had two bullet wounds in his back, one in his stomach and another in his armpit.
He had also been shot in the left arm.
He was wearing a brown pair of chinos and a pink and navy golf shirt.
A pair of Nike sneakers had been removed from the murdered man’s feet.
Two cartridges were found at the scene and a case of murder has been opened.
