Armed robbers strike house in Orpiment Road in Carletonville
Home invasion near the Carletonville Youth Centre.
A house near the Carletonville Youth Centre became the scene of a house robbery last week on Thursday, September 19.
A 21-year-old woman was alone in their home in Orpiment Road.
At approximately 20:30 five unknown suspect stormed into the house. The men spoke Sotho and Xhosa and demanded to see the owner of the house.
The young woman, however, told them that she was only a tenant and did not really know the owner.
The robbers grabbed five cellphones and ran from the house.
The woman was not injured during the incident.
