He was at home with his mother when the incident took place.

House robbers struck a home in Station Street in Oberholzer this week.

The incident took place on Wednesday September 11.

A man staying with his mother in Station Street was asleep inside the home at 02:50. He was suddenly woken up by three men masked with balaclavas.

The robbers, who spoke English, were also armed.

They grabbed the son, tied his hands and feet up and left him in the corridor.

They then grabbed a television set, cellphones, bank cards and a PlayStation.

The robbers had gained entry by forcing the kitchen window open and cutting the burglar bars. They fled from the house by jumping out of the same kitchen window again.

The criminals then ran away.
