A hard-working author from Khutsong, Jerry Bangude, is launching his book “The Hard Knocks of Life” in different areas across the country.
He hosted a successful launch on July 24 at his alma mater, the North-West University’s campus in Vanderbijlpark.
According to the well-respected author and motivational speaker, the book launch saw over 100 men in attendance.
The speakers were Sydney Madibo, Sibonelo Mbhele and Zakhele Gamede.
The speakers discussed very important issues that affect men in society and many young men were impacted through the moving speeches.
The topics that were discussed revolved around the concepts of men and God, grooming, finance, the role of men in modern society, the stigma around men, GBV, toxic masculinity, men’s mental health and how men can overcome the hard knocks of life.
Jerry would like to express his gratitude to the orginanisers of such an important and inspirational event for men. He would also like to express his gratitude to all men who attended, the speakers and the North-West University for opening doors for him to host his book launch. Bangude has previously launched another book called “I Have Learned”.
