Resident murdered on sidewalk
The murder took place in the far eastern part of Carletonville.
A resident of the Eastern part of Carletonville was murdered last weekend.
This crime took place on Sunday 23 June.
Residents of Blesbok Street heard a shot being fired in the street at approximately 19:30. Another shot went off just as they looked through the window.
They then noticed a man laying on the sidewalk next to their house, with another man bowing over him.
When this second man noticed that he was being watched, he ran away.
They called the police, who discovered that the man on the sidewalk had died after being shot.
