Thugs attack family in Dolomite

Robbers struck a home in Dolomite Street in Carletonville this week.

This crime took place on Thursday 20 June. A resident of the property heard that there was someone at his gate at about 19:00. He went outside to check.

“Call the police,” he called to his wife soon afterwards. The next moment five unknown men ran into their yard. The criminals grabbed the man and his wife and forced them into their back room.

“We want money,” the robbers demanded.

When the husband told them that he does not have any money, they forced him into his own Toyota Hilux bakkie.

They also stole a television set and cellphone and raced off.

By printing time it was not sure whether the man had been released safely.
