Robbers strike restaurant

They fled with various goods.

A group of armed robbers struck a restaurant at the Carletonville Taxi rank over the weekend.

The incident happened on Friday 7 June.

Staff at the 2M Restaurant in Annan Road were busy locking up when two unknown men walked in at about 19:10.

They immediately pulled out firearms and pointed it at the people inside.
The criminals demanded valuables and proceeded to grab money, cellphones and alcohol.

They then ran away.

A business robbery case is being investigated.
