Despite the cold, residents flocked to the Carletonville Civic Centre for a big gospel event last Sunday night.
The Pastors Honours Function Awards Ceremony was an event which brought our area’s top gospel artists under one roof. Artists such as Fikile Muchave, whose newest gospel video is appearing on national TV, Dr Dubai, the Tahilla Chords Choir, Jonkie J Nqoko and Ngobile Felita were some of the artists who showed off their God-given talent.
Merafong’s Exceutive Mayor, Ms Nozuko Best, and other local councillors and some officials also attended.
According to the organizer, Apostle Rose Nakedi Mangaliso,the President of Rosé Promotions, this event was the first of its kind for the town. This production company has been hosting gospel shows and events since 2018.
“The purpose of this event was to encourage servants of God to continue to labour in faith and build churches for their communities for purposes of building strong families, to provide counselling and produce men and woman of integrity in SA,” says Mangaliso.
She added that she is grateful for the excellent response from all other pastors and well as the Executive Mayor.
