Players from the Fochville Squash Club did well at another league match last week.
The match happened at the Fochville Squash Club at the Gert van Rensburg sports complex on 15 May. The Fochville players took on a team from the Potchefstroom Country Club again and walked off as winners. Two members won their matches.
Jan Barnard beat Lappies Labuschagne 3–0, while Gerhard Pretorius beat Hendri van Dyk 3–1.
In the two other matches in the event, George Campbell scored 0–3 against Nathan van Noordwyk, while Adrian Stallenberg lost 2–3 against Philip Stander.
According to the Fochville club spokesperson, Mark Metcalfe, the team is doing well in this year’s league.
“After our two wins, we are now fourth on the ladder,” he says.
Fochville will play against opponents from Klerksdorp this week.
