Robbers strike at guest house in Carletonville

The thug broke the window after fighting with the husband.

A couple staying at a guest house in Carletonville had a harrowing experience last weekend.

The two visitors to the facility on Bluebell Street were asleep during the early hours of Saturday, 4 May.

The wife suddenly woke up to a loud noise. When she came to her senses, she saw her husband fighting an unknown man at one of the windows.

The thug got the upper hand and broke the window.

“Give me your cell phones,” he demanded.

The robber forced the couple to hand over their cell phones, valued at R28,000, and he fled the scene.
